Opaque’s new E.P OUT NOW

Opaque have released their brand new E.P on Drip Dry, “Seems Ridiculous'“. The band were in and out of the studio for around 8 months piecing the 4 tracks together around busy lives and schedules. Moony said, "The Seems Ridiculous E.P is a cacophony of sounds and emotions reflecting the madness of current times."

With the opening track "Get Back Up" tackling the issue of mental health and the miracle of being, followed by "Love Song Gone Wrong, a look at the contrasting emotions of being in and out of love.

The third track was a surprise track written in the studio and was a direct response to the bands direct involvement with the Extinction Rebellion movement.

This leads us to the title track of the EP, a floaty love song about the fact that life is gonna be
crazy for us all, but we've got each other folks.

You can listen to, download and buy the E.P from here. Also available on all major streaming platforms.

Debut album "My Time" wows
BBC Introducing Cambs crew

She’s done it! Chloe has just released her debut album. What a journey it has been for the incredibly talented young singer-songwriter from Stamford. It has been hard work, a real learning experience and an absolute pleasure and joy to work with Chloe and her family on this album.

She has just had the 1st single from the album, “My Time” put up as song of the week on BBC Introducing, Cambs! Big ups Chloe!! Especially chuffed because the majority of the recording,
mixing and production was done right here at Drip Dry HQ.

Henry does It, DIY

Undertaking the task of mixing and mastering Henry Birkett’s debut E.P Shots With Strangers was a very interesting project to work on, it was the first 'country'-style record I had been asked to
work on so I was very keen to give it a go.

Shots With strangers is a collection of songs forged from the early life experiences
19 year old Henry has had.  From his first breakup to hidden meanings, this EP won't leave a
stone unturned for a country/Americana fan.
It's out now folks so go get some here.
Also available on all major streaming platforms.  Go support Henry on Facebook, go on now y'all:)

Working with Spherical

I have recently started with a band of young fella's called Spherical, they asked me to mix their first single, 'Shipwreck' and have just put it out themselves on Spotify and all that jazz.  I'm really excited about working with these guys, they have something unique I feel. Here's some blurb about the band...

Spherical is a 6 piece Alternative band with passion for all genres of music. Fusing Jazz, Indie, Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B and Psychedelic elements to their music they all found their bond with each other as well as their own sound. Starting off as an instrumental Funk Trio Back in secondary school -Brad (Guitar), Alex (Drums), Jenson (Bass)- Alex and Brad then went down as a two piece Progressive Metal act until they came to college after recently forming with Jenson again. By meeting Aiden (Vocals/Guitar), Joe (Saxophone/Vocals) and Barney (Rhythm Guitar) on their they all began creating the music that is built upon the chemistry between all these members."

READY TO GET RECORDING?

Drip Dry differs to other record labels in that it does not make any profit in releasing & re-distributing music for artists. The emphasis is on giving artists complete control of their own music. It's a head start into the world of the music business without the cut-throat politics.

It's your music after all
